A little Jesus
A little background to this story;
Over a year ago the Lord spoke to my spirit to enroll in welding school. My tenure as a pastor, was coming to a close. God was opening up missionary work for me in the welding industry. I understood that, at the very beginning my witnessing would begin immediately. (I took the call of God so seriously that, I would pray about “how to lace my work boots up”). Ministry closed out at Welcome Hill A/G and I was able to go to New Mexico on a weekend mission trip. I will be going back there to help establish a church. That trip was like a side bonus of what God was intending to do.
Later, after that I completed school, God opened a welding job up in Denton, Texas. This is my second week here. After the first week, I began to ask God to help me find at least one Christian to keep company with. (Besides my two youngest sons). Last week, a young man named Hunter began a conversation with us, while we waited on the shuttle buses. He is from Louisiana. The conversation went quickly to giving honor to Jesus Christ as our Savior. When the shuttle bus dropped us off at our work stations, Hunter handed me the little figure of Jesus, and said, “I just wanted to share a “little Jesus” with you.” It made my day. I have secretly been wanting one of those. I see them everywhere. (By the way, You have been asking God how to open doors for you to witness. There is an idea for you. Buy some of the “little Jesus” figures and share away)
This morning, Hunter and I had talked about finding a church to attend while we work in Denton. We googled churches and the Lord led us to Eaglepointe Church.
I thoroughly enjoyed the service. I also won a door prize. God is a good God. If you will listen to Him, He will guide you in life. I hope that you have a blessed.
